My biggest adventure of the day came when my teacher came to pick me up on his motorcycle. I had never ridden a motorcycle before (not once!), so this proved to be quite the experience. I felt a little awkward putting my hands around his waste (as I had just met him), but I soon found that this was the only way to feel stable as we dodged in between cars and hit speed bumps, potholes, and cracks that seemed all-too-common on the road. There were many other motorcyclists surrounding us, and they often appeared to make-up their own lane-- right in between the lanes for cars. It certainly was invigorating, although (contrary to what I told the driver) it did make me quite nervous. I plan on growing more accustomed to this form of transportation, as it will be a daily routine for me and Federico for at least the remainder of the week!

Too bad you didn't pack a leather jacket!

Love it.
